Permits, timelines, financing and licensing. The things homeowners ask us most before a remodel starts.

Frequently asked questions

Still not sure about something? Call us and we will talk it through.

A tub or shower replacement can be finished in as little as one day. A full bathroom remodel usually runs one to two weeks on site, and a full kitchen typically three to six weeks depending on how much plumbing and electrical moves. You get a written schedule before demolition starts, so you know which trade is in your home and when.

Usually yes. Anything that moves plumbing, alters electrical, changes structure or replaces windows requires a permit in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. As a licensed certified building contractor we pull the permits and schedule the inspections ourselves, so it is handled as part of the job rather than left to you.

We work throughout Tampa Bay from our Clearwater office, including Clearwater, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Largo, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Treasure Island, Belleair Beach and Wesley Chapel. If you are just outside that list, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can cover you.

Yes. A designer comes to your home, measures the space, discusses what you want and leaves you with a written price. There is no charge and no obligation to book. You are free to take the quote and think about it for as long as you need.

We do. Low to no monthly payment options are available and we can walk you through what your project would look like on a monthly basis during the consultation, alongside the current offers on kitchen and bath remodels.

New Bay Remodeling holds Florida certified building contractor license CBC 1267053 and carries full insurance. We are happy to provide proof of both before any work begins.
